Fun Activities to Promote Emotional Intelligence and Vocabulary
Hi Everyone!
I've been out for a little while-not too long. Sometimes inspiration doesn't come so easily, but today that spark began to ignite again. If you have students who are struggling with regulating their emotions or verbalizing what they feel, I just may have an activity that can help your kiddos gain the words needed to articulate their feelings more appropriately. With this activity you will also be addressing other goals. Such as understanding prefix, suffixes, understanding synonyms/antonyms and manipulating parts of words to create new words. There are also a few more surprises that aligns with a few ELA Common Core Standards nicely.
